Address: The Special Interest Group in Neuropsychology was reformed in conjunction with the International Neuropsychology Society mid-year meeting at the Burlington Hotel, Dublin in July 2005. The original Neuropsychology Interest Group successfully ran for more than 10 years in collaboration with the National Rehabilitation Hospital and Beaumont Hospital. The N.I.G. offered interested psychologists a forum within which to discuss interesting and challenging cases, share research ideas and gain peer support in their various Neuropsychology roles. In 2004 and early 2005 the group sought to formalise much of its education and support and re-located from the National Rehabilitation Hospital to the Trinity Institute for Neuroscience at Trinity College Dublin. A small steering committee was set up, which began meeting at PSI head office from November 2005.
