Charles Matthews Support Fund
for Speakers and Videoconferences
The ILC has launched an initiative to sponsor small regional conferences on neuropsychological topics in non-North American countries, especially South America, Asia, Africa, and Eastern Europe.
This project will support both invited speakers and videoconferences.
One of the purposes of this endeavor is to promote neuropsychology in regions where INS members and potential members may be geographically distant from INS conferences and thus attending INS conferences is an economic hardship.
The ILC also hopes to promote continuing education for neuropsychologists in these same regions.
Videoconferencing is one very economical possibility in areas where the technical equipment is available. This technology allows a speaker to lecture from his or her home base to a remote audience that can actually see, hear, and interact with the speaker. In this way, current developments in neuropsychology can be made available to professionals in remote regions.

RECP is composed of INS members who volunteer to work with international colleagues who wish to publish their research in English language journals. Research and editing consultants may assist in such areas as research design, methodology and/or statistics, as well as language editing, in exchange for co-authorship. ILC also seeks foreign colleagues interested in utilizing this service.
