About the ILC
Mission of ILC
The INS established the International Liaison Committee (ILC) in an effort to promote increased communication and collaboration among neuropsychologists worldwide. The ILC works exclusively as a broker of information. As such, the Committee addresses some of the obstacles of full participation in scientific and clinical activities that many colleagues face. The ILC provides information on INS and outside programs, many designed especially for those from developing regions where resources and contact with other neuropsychologists may be limited. Regional Representatives
The International Liaison Committee is developing a network of regional representatives to further enhance its goals. We seek energetic, committed professionals who are actively involved in the practice of neuropsychology.
The main duties of the representatives will be to report, via a brief paragraph twice a year, on neuropsychological activities and issues in their specific regions. These reports will be published in the INS-NET and posted on the ILC website. ILC representatives may also be called upon to respond to occasional inquiries about neuropsychological services and opportunities within their regions.
The 12 regional representatives are:
- Raymond Chan for Asia
- Ramiro Coello-Cortes for Central America
- Alberto Luis Fernández for South America
- Lucia Braga for Brazil
- Miriam Levav and Jaana Assah for the Middle East
- Sergey Kiselev for Russia
- Laura Hokkanen for Scandinavia
- Niall Pender for Western Europe
- Natalia Ojeda del Pozo for Southern Europe
- Skye McDonald for Australia & New Zealand
- Penny Holding for Africa
- Petr Kulistak for Eastern Europe
If you have ideas or questions or if you would like to submit a nomination to be a regional representative, please contact us via the e-mail contact form on the home page.
