1034 South Brentwood Boulevard, Suite 1850
Saint Louis, MO 63117
E-mail: info@jsmf.org
Field of Study: The Bridging Brain, Mind and Behvior program continues and extends the James. S. McDonnell Foundation's historical interest in and commitment to mind-brain research including cognitive neuroscience, cognition and learning, and applications of cognitive neuroscience and cognitive psychology to rehabilitation of individuals after injury to the central nervous system.
Purpose: The program supports inter-disciplinary research spanning at least two of the three different levels of analysis (Neural, cognitive, behavioral) required in answering questions linking brain function and behavior. Eligibility: International applications are encouraged. Applicants must have completed academic training and hold a position compatible with the pursuit of independent research. Applications are welcome from researchers at any stage in their careers; however senior scientists must explain, in detail, how they themselves (not their research assistants and postdoctoral fellows) will use the funds to pursue break-out research substantially different from that ongoing in their laboratories. The foundation encourages applications from early career scientists.
