It is reassuring to see that cross-cultural research is gaining momentum and that an ever larger group of psychologists are aware of the specific aspects of assessment and treatment from a cross-cultural perspective. Along the same line, one can expect more frequent and intense contacts between neuropsychologists and cross-cultural psychologists in the near future. By cooperating we will come to appreciate the cultural dimension in neuropsychology.

International Liaison Committee Update
By Lidis Artiola, Ph.D., Chairperson
After two years of experimentation, we have restructured the ILC. It is restructured from a committee of regional representatives to one of project leaders. This was done in an effort to better distribute the work- of the Committee and to bring in new ideas on an ongoing basis. Tenure on the ILC is now contingent upon an active project status. In keeping with this restructuring Lloyd Cripe and Beniice Marcopulos are official members of the committee. Our newest members, Irene Taussik of Argentina and Donald Yeo of Singapore, have committed to firming up our database of Latin American and Asian societies respectively. hidividuals who wish to commit some of their time to the U,C are encouraged to contact the chair to discuss proposed projects. Addresses for the UC members are:

BOOK & JOURNAL DEPOSITORY
There is a continued need for books and journals. We all have dusty books that could be used by colleagues in other parts of the world. Materials should be no more than 10 years old unless they are classics. Contact Bernice Marcopulos for details.
A Clever Way to Liaison
Jason Brandt proposed an idea that allows more of us to contribute to an increased international exposure of INS and the UC. Since journals are scarce in many developing countries, reprints are frequently requested by foreign colleagues. These reprints can be mailed with a copy of INSNET and an information pamphlet on INS. A
Strategy for implementing this on a larger scale is in progress, but you could start doing this immediately by making a copy of INSNET and including it with the requested reprints to foreign countries.
